Makes annotating bug screenshots easier
If you're working on team project, especially developing a website, then inevitably you'll have to send a lot of screenshots back and forth.
Bug Shooting is a free utility that allows you to capture an area of the screen and make notes about it. It aims to make this process as easy as possible and for the most part it succeeds. The developer website is really useful and takes you through the simple annotation procedure. The annotations can be text, geometric shapes and arrows with the latter being very useful to indicate clearly what you want to highlight. With Bug Shooting, you can catch anything from icons in the taskbar, third party programs or simply capture an area or the entire screen. It also lets you copy from the clipboard to import images into Bug Shooting and vice versa, i.e. copy from the program, complete with annotations, and paste it into another application. This is one of it's most useful features because with similar programs, you end up unable to share screenshots on the clipboard.
An excellent screen capture program that makes highlighting and annotating errors easy.

Indispensable.
Since downloading bug shooting it has become a core part of my work process. I don't specifically use it for fixing bugs, but for providing visual guides to my clients.I've even started using it as my main image editor as it's quick to do basic annotations and paste the results into emails
Pros:
Fast to do things
Very intuitive while flexible screen capture mechanism
Capture history
Great basic annotations like text, arrows, boxes
Fast support and updates Cons:
Only basic editing tools More

Better than most I've tried..But it is not free. Only good for 30 days. .
Pretty good at capturing and annotating a graphic with various boxes, lines etc. Would have liked thinner lines or better yet configurable options and some of the graphic boxes come with arrows that either point right or left, but no up or down? Eh! Still pretty slick overall. Worth the $20 just so I don;t have to keep installing one software after another looking for something that works. More

A little Buggy.
Made a capture, tried to save it and Bug Shooting crashed.
Pros: Great idea for capturing and sharing images, work details.
Cons:
It would be nice to have a standard menu, File, Edit, View, etc. etc. More
